Named one of the Top 30 Influencers of the Performing Arts world, by the 118 year old magazine, Musical America Worldwide, Jerald Miller has been at the forefront of the music industry for almost 15 years. Since 2006 he has been at the helm of Nu Jazz Entertainment the leading digital Jazz label in the industry. In the last (5) years he has become the de-facto Czar of Classical & Jazz digital intiatives through such efforts as launching the very first Jazz iTunes "LP", being the first jazz label to provide bonus "video" content with every digital release, and being the first jazz label to make all of their releases available on pre-paid digital download cards, in addition to creating a hosts of other "firsts" in the music industry.
Not only has he helped countless organiations to guide the transition of catalog material to the digital medium, but he has helped to usher in a new age in the revitalization of catalog content. After working at EMI Records, BMG Records, Columbia Records, Arkadia Records, VIEW Video, and for Spike Lee, Jerald Miller went on to help guide the careers of such artists as Lauryn Hill, (3) time Grammy and Latin Grammy award winner Arturo O'Farril, (24) time Downbeat Award winner Steve Turre, NEA Jazz Master Ellis Marsalis, Mercer Ellington & The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Greg Tardy, Mark Shim, and other musical stars who sought Miller ought for his marketing savvy and managerial prowess. He also went on to be a noted producer of several records for several different NEA Jazz masters. In 2006, Miller launched Nu Jazz Records, Nu Jazz Video, and Nu Jazz Management where he works with such arist as NEA Jazz Masters Ellis Marsalis, Jason Marsalis, and manages numerous members of the Jazz at Lincoln Center orchestra while also working as a consultant to art agencies and record labels, and content owners in developing their digital assets.

▪ Created the first worldwide virtual jazz label that owned 100% of its assets in both audio and video digital formats for all recordings.
▪ Launched the first jazz label to secure full digital distribution via major label network, without seed money from a major.
▪ Pioneered and solidified position of Nu Jazz Records/Nu Jazz Video as first jazz record label to release every recording on iTunes with bonus video content.
▪ Solidified the position of Nu Jazz Records as an industry leader by having every jazz released featured on the genre homepage of iTunes, and enabling Nu Jazz Records to become the first jazz record label to have an album featured on the iTunes Jazz genre homepage for (6) six months.
▪ Developed with iTunes the first jazz recording in the new iTunes format, Ellis Marsalis – An Open Letter To Thelonious (Platinum Edition), with 2011 NEA Jazz Master, Ellis Marsalis. This album created a completely interactive jazz product merging, for the first time - audio, video, photographic, and literary content into a unique product for commercial release.
▪ Launched the first jazz record label which allowed their artists to sell recordings at concerts via unique branded “Pre-Paid” digital download cards. Enabling artists, for the first time, to sell digital assets in audio, video, and photographic formats at the gigs via a medium that did not require physical product.
▪ Created partnerships with Amazon, Rhapsody, eMusic, Napster, and over 340 digital download services world-wide to successfully promote Nu Jazz releases.
▪ Specialized in re-vitalizing historic and classic jazz recordings from legendary recording artist such as Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Count Basie, Billie Holiday and Louis Armstrong to make the content new and fresh for undeveloped audiences.
